6/27 appears as an option for freshman Blinn team students. That is why we selected it at first. But then I read the NSC page and had my daughter switch to 7/9. So maybe they opened up 6/27 to freshman? We will stick with 7/9 just to be safe!
I just switched to 5/23 bc that’s what was shown to me in AIS too. But on the main page it says it’s only a transfer date. I am very confused as to why it would give an option, allow me to select it; and yet have it not allowed?
I agree. I guess my question would be, why would it say TAP- Blinn TEAM under those Transfer Dates when you can’t transfer in as a Blinn TEAM student, right?
I’m wondering that too. It’s a seamless transition and shouldn’t require another nsc.
We are going July 9th and 10th. Embassy Suites had decent rates that day.
Embassy Suites is my FAVORITE hotel in B/CS!! Absolutely the best!
Perfect location too
We’re registered for 7/9-7/10. A meetup would be fun if anyone is up for it!
We will be there too!
I think a meet up is a great idea!
My daughter receive acceptance but not for her major. She got admitted to “General University” and it says she has to change her major before accepting. We do not know what to do. When you go to the change major page the options are nothing close to Kinesiology which is what she wanted. We are looking and the closest seems to be Nutrition but it is just a guess. Then we dont know if we have to change both option 1 and 2 or just option 2. We got scared with the note that says “BAC-UNIV is no longer accepting applicants. If you change this major you will not be able to add it back”. Any comments will be appreciated. In any case we will probably try to call tomorrow.
Question to ask:
Is she required to stay in the major she chooses or can she change her major once she completes those requirements.
We think so by reading the site in the general info but not sure
we picked 6/27-28 and we are BLINN but that was what was available do we need to change?
That’s an either or question lol. What did you read?
We just registered for July 9-10.
We picked the same dates of 5/23-5/24, I would think the date works if it was shown in AIS. Maybe once she sets up her Aggie email we’ll have some clarity.
@TXMomLife be sure she is completely done with school-graduation, prom, project grad etc. They need to be able to focus at NSC, not still be in ‘high school’ mode.
Book a hotel room now for 2 nights-night before Day 1 and night of Day 1.
Nothing new overnight here.
We are signed up for 6/20-6/21. When we logged in, the first few dates were 5/23-5/24 (graduation is 5/24 so won’t work) & then the date we selected.
FYI - I talked to housing yesterday (associate director) & he said it takes overnight to process (updates around 2:30 pm). My son got his howdy around 4 PM or so yesterday. Checked this morning and now he can apply for housing so that is our plan. He recommended riding out the waitlist at least until NSC & his chances should be good - just probably won’t have a choice in dorm or roommate. Talked to my kiddo & he’s good with it - would prefer to be on campus. I figured we’ve been patient this long, waiting on acceptance. Why not rule the dice on housing. There’s plenty of housing of campus that will still be there.
Different question - we were able to get my parent access set up for the payment system (LOL not surprised that worked easily) but not for academic records yet. It takes us to the screen below…
