Texas AM AG Business/Financial Planning

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
I am in my second year here at Texas AM. I was originally in the engineering school and passed all the first year “weed out” classes. My problem is that I am just now finding out I don’t want to be an engineer.
To make a long story short the university really wants me to stay in engineering because they are trying to build a big new school and program here and they can’t do that if people like me drop.or change majors.
Question - if I leave engineering (and I’m going to) they are recommending Ag Business/Financial Planning. Is this a viable degree path or just somewhere they stick the people who leave/flunk out of engineering? Would accounting be a better fit?
Its always been my intention to enter grad school to get my MBA as soon as I graduate from Texas AM with my undergad.
Thanks in advance on any worthwhile thoughts!
