Texas colleges for students with 2.5 GPA

<p>Need to find a good/decent school in texas ! I have a 2.55 gpa and an ACT composite score of 22.</p>

<p>Sam Houston State University; Sul Ross State University: Maybe UT-PanAmerica, UT-Brownsville, UT-Permian Basin, or UT-San Antonio. </p>

<p>Do you know your current rank in class? That matters quite a lot for Texas public schools.</p>

<p>At UT-Pan American your class wouldn’t matter. Apparently your GPA is high enough. I think you need a 2.2.</p>

<p>In the other thread, I recommended UTSA, Texas State, North Texas, or Sam Houston State. </p>

<p>Schools like UT-Permian Basin, Sul Ross State, UT-Brownsville, and UT-Pan American should be safety schools, not primary ones for you.</p>

<p>Probably better to go to a Community College for a year or two, improve your grades and then see if you can get into a better school.</p>
