Text Completion or Type in Answer = Experimental Section?

I am taking the test August 24th. If I see a question that is one of the new question types, am I 100% in the non-scored, non-identified experimental section?

I thought it was non-identified, but I just took the GRE last week and it told me which section was experimental.

Now that I think about it, I bet that identified section I got was just the research section. I must not have had an experimental section.

Wait what? I hate that people have differing experiences w/ test formats and how all the books LIE AARGHH. I really just don't want to be surprised the day of the test.

So for clarification:

2 essay sections
1 verbal
1 math
1 IDENTIFIED research section that is math or verbal
1 UN-IDENTIFIED research section that is math or verbal

This is the format I thought the test was (in whatever order, but with the 2 essays always first). Is this not what it is in real life?

Any thoughts on my original question?

When I took it, it was in this order:

2 essay sections
1 verbal
1 math
1 identified research section (math)

So I have no idea about the experimental section. I guess I didn't get it.
