This might sound dumb, but I just got my textbooks for MATH 124 and CHEM 142 but the covers are paper-thin! It’s ridiculous! I’ve considered laminating but I don’t think it will do enough. What sort of protection should I use if I want to ensure the quality of the books will be close to the present condition in the future?

for hardbound books I use QFC bags to cover them. For soft cover books I just use printer paper taped together. I’ve never had an issue with wrecking books or covers or spines … ever. I’ve used this system since 5th grade when we had expensive books haha.

Btw, I’m taking math 124 and chem 142 as well… which lectures are you in? :)

Thanks! I’m in lecture A for Chem 142 and lecture J for Math 124. You?

Oh wow, I had both those lectures until I changed my schedule… B for Chem 142 and E (I think?) for Math 124.
