Textbook help

<p>I will be taking MAE 182 A this coming Fall. The textbook which we will be using is:
Boyce (9780470383346)
Elem Diff Equations & Bvp (9th) W/cd</p>

<p>I am wondering whether to buy International Edition of it. In other words will i better off with IE which is around 35$ compared to that which cost around 175$ used condition? Do we need those CDs which comes with the textbook or no?</p>

<p>That book is terrible. I took 182A last fall with Sepulveda and the professor made up his own problems. His lectures were enough to solve the hw problems, which was good because you DO NOT want to learn from that text. Wait and see if the professor assigns problems from the text and consider yourself lucky if you don’t need to buy the book.</p>
