textbooks

just checked requirements and found no textbooks needed for:

m118
c104
k201
t175

does this sound right? that’s most of our son’s schedule for fall

I think that some of them have been updated yet. One of mine doesn’t have anything listed either so I researched a bit and heard that some of the professors don’t list the materials until August. It would be strange for him to need no textbooks!

You’ll definitely need textbooks for some of those classes–some professors won’t list books until August

There will be “required” books in K201 and M118. I’d say the K201 one is actually needed.

There are books for K204…not sure if K201 and K204 use same books

It seems like there are several different ways to get book lists, and each one gives a different result. I found this link on the Indiana University Parents of Future Hoosiers Facebook page and it looks like there are books required for K201, at least for the random section I selected: [Academics FAQs](http://admit.indiana.edu/howtoiu/academics/index.php)
I just don’t know which site has the correct list, this one or the one students can access via OneStart.

Wrong link in my post above. The right one is [Your Customized Textbook List - Indiana University Bloomington Bookstore](http://iub.bncollege.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TBWizardView?catalogId=10001&storeId=39052&langId=-1). My original link has another link to this site.

thanks all, I kinda assumed everything wasn’t updated yet, for example for m118 there is no teacher listed yet, it just says “staff”. Onestart was where I looked for what books were needed. Guess we’ll just keep checking.

“Staff” means it’s likely a grad student will be teaching it

Can we purchase books online before arriving on campus?

Bought the majority of my books online and saved a lot of money. Keeping receipts in case the book is not needed for the class and I have to return.
