<p>anyone out there struggling or frustrated with the SATs should STRONGLY consider taking the ACTs. i studied my butt off for the SATs and didn’t do so well. i barely studied for the ACT and i am very happy with my score. everyone should take it to see which test suits you better!</p>
<p>I agree, there are alot of advantages, and disadvantages to this test
I scored higher on the sat but I like this test more. For some reason it feels shorter… maybe that’s because they only divide it into four sections instead of adminstering a billion short ones</p>
<p>The ACT seems less scam-like than the SAT… it seems like a more legitimate test and seems a lot more practical than the SAT. I love the midwest, and our beloved test, the ACT.</p>

<p>My D did significantly better on the ACT than the SAT. Her applications are in, but she is so "“pro-act” that shell take it again Dec 9 (already signed up long ago) although her Nov scores are fine. The only scenario where it could make a difference is if she is waitlisted at a school, and she improves upon her Nov ACT score so the Dec score is considered.</p>
<p>Overall, she just thinks that taking the ACT is a much more pleasant and less stressful experience than taking the SAT.</p>
