<p>I’d say they would … I also gave thank you notes to my teachers about 3days before the deadline as kind of a reminder and a thank you all in one 
I’d recommend doing this as when I handed one of my teachers the thank you card he opens it and goes “… now when do I need that done?!” and so it was a good thing he still had another 3days to get it done before the deadline.</p>
