Thank You Gifts for Professors

<p>So I really feel the urge to give a thank you gift to several professors for writing me LORs on multiple occasions. The thing is, some of them are out-of-state, any suggestions? How about the ones that are on-campus? And around when would be a good time?</p>

<p>Valentine’s day is coming up, but I think that would send the wrong message…</p>

<p>Depending on the person, chocolate, gift card, alcohol (wine, beer, maybe whiskey). I think you could give it to them whenever. I sent out thank you cards and took out my research advisor for lunch after I got into graduate school.</p>
