Thank You Note worries...

Hello!
So, following my interviews at the schools I visited, I wrote thank you cards to all my interviewers. And I’m a very sappy person and I don’t hold back on my feelings- some might interpret this as two-faced or unauthentic, but really, I’m just a happy person who has a lot of love to give, and when I particularly loved a school, I showed it.
However, I’m worried that my interviewer might read my card, see something I wrote as “cheesy” or “kiss-a*sy” and immediately write “SHE’S CRAZY AND FAKE”
Will the sappiness of my letter hurt me?
And when I say sappy, I mean SAPPY.
Thank you!

Okay, I’m gonna be harsh here: you can’t worry about it. You can’t change it. in Elsa voice THE PAST IS IN THE PAST!

Give an example of how “sappy” you were. Was it more like “I love this school!” or “I love this so much, you are the best, can I marry you?”

“X school became my first choice faster than you can say ‘Go X mascot!’”

I KNOW IM SORRY I JUST HAVE A LOT OF EMOTIONS

“Do you even go here?!”

“No… I just have a lot of feelings.”

SO MANY GERUNDS

At the beginning of English the only gerund we could think of was “wedding,” but now gerunds are everywhere. Goodness.

I think it sounds fine! At least you’re showing enthusiasm for the school. It’s much better than writing a thank you note that sounds completely unauthentic and computer generated.

That’s not sappy at all! I think it’s great.; Don’t worry. The worst thing they’ll think is that you’re over enthusiastic, but that can be a good thing.

It’s pretty sappy  , but it shouldn’t go over badly with the AO’s.

I guess it depends on the person. @mrnephew

@mrnephew‌ I know, but I don’t mean it in a saccharine way. Like I’m a very enthusiastic bubbly person and I displayed that I think. Even the tour guide said something along the lines of “Wow, you have a really positive and happy energy”. I’m just… vibrant, I suppose. I hope that they won’t all collectively roll their eyes :frowning:

“They” being the ADCOM that my interviewer might tell

If they do, who cares? That’s their problem. Don’t worry about it, @HistoryGeek40!

Nope, we have a couple of those people in the grade, they make it more fun.

I just had an interviewer tell me she admires my spunk.

Yay, Stargirl!
