Two of my daughter’s teachers have written letters for her, for her college applications-- she has decided to make homemade candy truffles as a thank you gift – she was thinking about giving them to them right before Thanksgiving break- so they could enjoy them with family and friends, I think she should bring them in Monday – thinking a thank you should be more timely-- what are your thoughts?

Let her choose the timing–it doesn’t really matter.

Also, keep those teachers in the loop with the results (good and bad) and the final decision. They feel invested now. When the final decision was made, my Ds gave a little gift, letting them know what their decisions were and once again thanking them for their efforts in helping them achieve the results.
