Over the past few months, I’ve come here seeking advice about cars; mail service; gas line hook-up; roof replacement; and divorce. I am happy to report that as of yesterday, mail service to my younger daughter appears to be in place (after 2 1/2 months without); my yard is minus an obstructive tree; my house has a new roof and chimney; and my older daughter donated her car to charity, a few hours before she departed California. (Rumor has it that the younger daughter’s gas service will be on next week.) I much appreciate being able to come here and receive advice and commiseration, especially because anyone who responded on any of these topics did more than my spouse (yes, the divorce thing is still in process).
We are a good group here, aren’t we. And much, much better than an almost-ex-spouse.
@VeryHappy, I love your picture. I also have an Aussie and I’m pretty sure she’s happy that the roof and chimney replacement are done, too.
As long as my Aussies are walked and fed every day, I think they’re happy.
Also, I thank the person who, on a thread about flying, mentioned low fares on Southwest from San Diego to Chicago. I got my older daughter a ticket home for $49.
