<p>So my mom gets home from work today and asks me if I’ve heard from any colleges. I tell her I’ve been waitlisted at Washington. Can you guess her reaction? She laughs in my face and does a little victory dance. I kind of expected it. My mother was never happy with me wanting to go out of state (I’m from California) . Now it looks like my mother might get what she wants. Anyway, I don’t know if there is anything to discuss, but I just wanted to share my story. :)</p>

<p>Whoever you are… sorry about that incident. But you will be going away to a college, regardless of where it is so you won’t be around your mom for too much longer anyways.</p>

<p>Yeah, I told my grandmother that I was waitlisted and she was like, “Congratulations, sweetheart!”</p>
