It looks lovely. But I’m confused about your math. About $ 200 ( for 2 meals plus coffee plus say 25 percent which would fully cover 5 percent service plus 19.5 percent auto gratuity) is about $250. How did you get to $300? Also, how much did you think you’d tip without auto gratuity and service charge ? I can’t imagine doing less than 22 percent on a holiday.
Plus one cocktail and one glass of wine. And tax.
