Thanksgiving near Charlottesville?

The Boars Head Inn is lovely, but indeed pricy on holiday weekends. Make reservations early as they do fill up. We have been several times, most recently for Easter Brunch. It’s definitely a splurge. You don’t have to stay at the inn to enjoy meals there. I would also check the Dinsmore House Inn which is on the corner (a personal favorite) and see how their rates compare. They have a wonderful hot breakfast included. If you want to venture a bit further out from c’ville there’s the Chestnut Hill Bed & Breakfast in Orange (25mi), The Iris Inn in Waynesboro (25mi), and the Cedar Spring Inn in Charlottesville (11mi fm UVa). Then there’s the option to rent a condo. Dean J has posted the link several times. I’ll search from my laptop tomorrow and post the link.
