I am seriously thinking of getting an Eero mesh to replace our 11 year old router. Nothing else on my Amazon lists is on sale for this period.
Marilyn, our cable company literally just installed an Eero system today in our home. I don’t know if it’s the mesh though…Our router was I think 12 years old!
My big fear is that I will install it, it won’t work, and I won’t be able to get the old Netgear running again. Everything is working pretty much ok, knock on wood. But I also don’t like getting only 20gb coverage when we’re paying for up to 150!
I resisted the urge to buy a new laptop. So far. The prices are so good, but I get along with the tablet.
I bought the eero after all and figured I was done shopping. Then we had a momentary power glitch, after which I decided it was finally time to replace two old night table clocks. One is an atomic clock so synchronizes itself but is always five minutes slow - and I can’t adjust it myself. The other’s time set buttons are stubborn and need multiple attempts to get them to change the time. So I thought, hey, it’s Black Friday - just buy two darn clocks. So I did.

Finally broke down and bought a new laptop. Couldn’t resist the prices!
We installed the google/nest router and extenders. They work very well.

@jym626 We switched to the Google nest router and extenders last year and it has changed our online experience. We have a long house with plaster walls and we had to have two routers, one on each end of the house. I would have to switch wifi networks in my kitchen. I never had great wi fi in that room. We now have one network that serves the whole house and even outside.
Just a note that I hope most of you don’t need… but, if you see a deal that seems too good to be true, it probably is. Someone hacked into older S’ ebay account and listed a game/game system? That is usually $500+ along with something else for $20. You’d think most people would realize it was a scam, but in 4 hours the hacker managed to sell over 600 items and walked away with $12,000. Older S woke up to 200 messages asking “is this for real?” And several hundred angry buyers who reported him to eBay along with a $1200 ebay seller fee bill. A couple of lengthy calls to ebay got it straightened out in his end, but still ugh. You would think people would know better, but obviously not.

Amazon has a Ring doorbell for $69.99 for Cyber Monday.
Bought Aerogarden Harvest Elite Slim from Best Buy for half off. Love it! It’s very slim (4 1/2 in) which is great so it takes very little counter space. Much improved over the years!
Got a phishing email about me buying itune gift cards. Um, no. Just a reminder to NEVER click on a weird email. Go straight to your own account–don’t click or email anyone in the email.
And having this double screen to type a reply is worthless.
