That additional info part...

What are some hypothetical examples of what people put in the optional info section? I’m not clear as to the kind of info I should/shouldn’t include.

i explained a club that isn’t typical.

for example, you dont need to explain what you do in NHS, but if your school has a club that is unique, i think it would beneficial to describe the purpose of the club and maybe some accomplishments

my mom died when i was a sophomore, thats why i failed english. i have a degenerative disease and i miss a lot of school, thats why i don’t have time to play sports. ect.

i climbed mt everest as a junior, so my studies are a little low, but hey i got a world record!

Is this internet sarcasm? I can’t tell.

It might be sarcasm, but when we went to the info session last spring the example they gave was to explain a glitch in the academic record due to illness or family circumstances. It sounded to me like they didn’t want the extra info. normally.

Yup, I think most people don’t fill in that extra info portion.

lol ya edwink, it says so on the app itself

i filled it in and explained the following:

In my sophomore year i took AP Computer Science 2…but this didn’t satisfy “the basic technology tech credit requirement.” So, this year, as a senior, I had to go back and take Computer Programming 1. I wrote to theschool borad about htis rule, and they said theyll consider changing it for the future…
