The ACT.org practice test?

How accurate is the practice test on the ACT website compared to the real deal? I scored a 26 on the math portion and after checking over dumb mistakes, I would have a 28. Is this test reflect the real thing. I times myself and everything too.

Make sure you understand what the dumb mistakes were and why you made them.

Then wait a week or so and re-take the test. If you understood your mistakes then you should get your target score.

It's what I did and I went from a 29 to a 32.

I got a 32 I think when I did it... then took two from the Red Book and got a 33 and either another 33 or a 34. Then got a 35 on the real thing without doing anything else.

So I'd say it's pretty accurate.

Well, it is written by the writers of the actual ACT tests. Almost certainly, the writers did not "dumb down" or "make harder" or "skew curves" for that test. I would say it is very accurate.
