The Admissions Office must be messier than my room

<p>Ok, so a week or so after November 1st, I get an email saying they’re missing my transcipt. My school has conformation that they got it, but we sent another one anyway. Later another email saying that since I still didn’t have everything in I am no longer allowed to apply SCEA, and my application will be evaluated under regular decision. Through a legacy connection we work things out and I am back in.</p>

<p>Tonight, I get an email saying that they do not have my SCEA agreement form. Why didn’t they tell me this before? I know I sent it in… So now I have until Friday to fax it to them.</p>

<p>Does this mean they won’t send out decisions until Friday? Could this mean I’m in and they just want conformation of my SCEA? Maybe I am just being hopeful. Did anyone else have similarly frustrating experiences?</p>

<p>i got the same e-mail tonight! I think though that if you get it in by Friday the results shouldn’t be delayed…right?</p>

<p>thats a good question calikent: why would they need an agreement form if you weren’t accepted?</p>

<p>It was part of the paper app for those who submitted in that form.</p>

<p>lol at first I was like “aawwwww maaaan I didn’t get that e-mail :(” but then I realised I definitely sent it in on time haha so nvm…I still have glimmers of hope</p>

<p>i hope that neemi, Citeruid and calikent happened to have their SCEA agreement form lost and that the rest of us are luckier in regards to our forms.</p>

<p>I applied online, but I still had to print a copy of this form out and mail it separately. I mailed it around October 28th and received a confirmation e-mail on the 18th. So maybe nothing (luckily) happened to mine?</p>

<p>BTW neemi and Citeruid, when did you guys turn in your SCEA agreement form?</p>

<p>Did you guys who got the emails saying that they were having probs with your app get the earlier email saying that your app was complete and was being sent to review? It’s possible that, if you guys didn’t get that email, then everyone who did get the earlier confirmation email can rest assured that they won’t run into the same problem.</p>

<p>sorry for the ambiguity. I’m referring to the confirmation email for the ENTIRE app, not just the agreement form, which I received around November 18th. From what I read in a previous thread a few weeks ago, many people on CC also received that email.</p>

<p>I got the confirmation e-mail though. I just hope it’s not one of those “oops, OUR BAD” moments, with me on the recieving end.</p>

<p>I did get the conformation email eventually, but not after their saying I was missing some other stuff though. I don’t know what happened because I mailed everything together. Don’t worry though guys, they wouldn’t lose everyone’s forms, so I’m sure this means nothing about rejection or acceptance, I was just trying to be optimistic. Good luck to all!</p>
