<p>basically, i gave my SAT I last year just to try it out before actually being prepared. then i got a score of 1920, with a real low 550 on CR but now i am giving the SAT again and expect a 660 on CR, hopefully. my problem is the clause as stated in the title that stanford has. now if i have to apply, i will have to send the 1920 score too right? What if i get 1 2150 this time i give the SAT? will the 1920 play a part in my evaluation? help please!!</p>

<p>"For the SAT, we will focus on the highest individual Writing, Math, and Critical Reading scores we receive from across test sittings. "</p>
<p>So, while they may see the lower score, only your best scores on each section will be counted.</p>
<p>^^ oh thank you!!! but i would’ve still preferred if they would update their computer with the highest score and not review them all…1920 is pretty pathetic although i have a 710 on writing so i guess i won’t concentrate on writing as much as in others!</p>
<p>Sure. I don’t know if the admission people really care about the sections with lower scores if you do better on subsequent tests. From the website, it seems like they won’t hold it against you, so i wouldn’t worry about that. I just know that you do have to send them all your scores. Good luck on all your apps!</p>
<p>I have a question. I have scored significantly better on the ACT than I have on the SAT. Can I just submit my ACT instead? and omit my SAT score? or does stanford want to see all test scores?</p>
<p>@ petree, in stanford’s website, something like ‘u cannot attempt to ‘hide’ your test scores’ is written. so i think u may have to send your SAT score as well. can i ask how much u got on the SAT? :)</p>
<p>Well ihave a 2040 for now, retaking in oct. I have a 33 on my ACT but hoping thats gonna go up after sept retake. And 800’s on physics and math II.</p>

<p>^Not 100% sure that you have to send your SAT score. i think that may mean that if you send one SAT score, you must send all of them (i.e no score choice) not sure that means you must send it though. ask them, over email.</p>
