The Amazing Race - Season 21 ***SPOILER ALERT***

Yes, and yes! They were SO sad and downtrodden, yet their plan the whole time was to U-turn the Beekmans if they could. Then they (practically) cried, “The Chippendales lost us $2 million!” No, you did that all on your own.

I didn’t think Abbie was that bad. It’s sad that she thinks Ryan is good enough for her. I know TAR producers mix things up with editing, but Ryan came across very poorly, whether genuine or not.

Rewatched the beginning. Now it’s all so clear. I have to start paying more attention.

It would have been funny if the clueless Trey/Lexi would have gone to France rather than Holland. I think they would have lost a couple of times now if not for other teams telling them what to do.

Speaking of nasty/vitriolic people, the twins sure have their share of it. Even on top of stealing money from the other team, they’re not the nicest people. They can be funny sometimes but they’re not that nice to some of the others. I don’t think people need to be best buddies with the other teams on the show since after all, it’s a competition, but they don’t need to speak negatively of the other individuals either. Part of the reason for the twins initiating the pact with the other 3 teams to u-turn Abby/Ryan is really so they wouldn’t u-turn them but I’m not sure the other teams have picked up on that. I think the twins are the most manipulative of the teams and the other 3 teams are pretty able to be manipulated.

I’m still hoping the twins will get booted off since they’re my least favorite team based on their personalities/actions. The Chippendales are my clear favorite team now base on their personalities.actions.

It’s always hard to predict who’ll win since little things out of their control, like missing a flight or getting a lousy taxi, can cause them to lose but it seems that the Chippendales and twins are the strongest teams right now. It’s kind of surprising the farmers are still in it at this point since they’re not a strong team (which is actually what’s saved them somewhat so far).

The farmers have not been a strong team but don’t count them out if they make it to the finale- IMO they are the SMARTEST team - so if memorizing or something brain skillful comes into play they have a chance.

It seems pretty clear that most of us are rooting for the Chippendales - they sure seem like able. So funny how they put their act on the road at the music grinder!!!

It’s funny that usually at this point I have a least favorite team, but I’m OK with all the people left. I am pulling for the Chips, though.

Getting near the end folks!!!

I knew from the beginning of the show that this was going to be a non-elim - too bad cause I now REALLY want to see the Chippendales AND the goat farmers in the finale!!! I could care less about Lexi and dude. The Sri Lanka girls can be entertaining, but I don’t really want them to win.

Interesting how they set up that ending. I thought for sure the Chippendales would be first! Bummer. I thought the challenge at the tennis center ala Nadal (!!!) was sweet! Nothing was too overly challenging last night though.

My other disappointment is that there will be a two hour finale next week. I don’t like when they pair the last elim with the finale show. I’d rather have a week in between then to quick throw a team aside and move onto the finale.

And I still say don’t count the goat farmers out if they get to the finale. They seem to have more SMARTS than the other teams - if they have one of those crazy mind challenging challenges they could pull it off!!!

Now that the goat farmers have closed the time gap, they have as much of a chance of winning as any other team.

I also figured it was a nonelimination leg.

I’ll have to rewatch the episode since S1 called during it and I didn’t get to see the whole thing.

I was really disappointed when it became a non elimination leg - I didn’t realize how much I was rooting against the twins and wanted them to be eliminated until it didn’t happen.

I had been disliking them due to the abusive banter back and forth (e.g. you idiot) - but the references to the Beekmans using the term gay as a slur put me over the top. Completely inappropriate and something that they are old enough to know better.

I agree about the twins. They’re funny, but there’s just enough of an edge there that gives me pause.

I’m good with Trey and Lexi winning because I’m a Longhorn!!!

I am a sucker for the under-dog so I am rooting for the Beekman boys. Second choice would be the Chips. I don’t mind the Texans, Trey is awful cute, but I too found myself rooting against the twins. They can say some pretty offensive things.

I also was disappointed the twins weren’t booted off last night. I wasn’t expecting a non-elim day because I thought they were going to do the finale with the final 3 next week. I’ve been wanting the twins to go ever since they stole the other team’s money but on top of that they make the most derogatory remarks about the people on the other teams. Last night they made some remark about the farmers when the farmers did better than them at the windmill, but duh, they operate a farm and do mechanical things all the time. It’d be nice if the farmers come in ahead of the twins. The twins can be kind of funny in their banter with each other but they’re also not the nicest to the others. However, they haven’t been nearly as bad in this regard as some teams in other seasons but the money theft was enough to put them on the boot list.

Unfortunately, sometimes the extra challenge they need to do isn’t that significant and doesn’t slow them up that much.

I think it’s anyone’s game at this point. As last night’s show indicated, one can fairly easily go from last place to first and the first place to last in a single show.

I hope the Chippendales win though.

Finally caught up completely! I am rooting for Chippendales and Goat Farmers equally these days. I really like those 4. As stated above, if the finale includes any geography or memory stuff, the Goat Farmers will likely ace it. I really like the finales that include a real challenge like finding on the map where you’ve gone over the course and those types of things. To me, they make it so exciting.

I am ready for the finale!

Have a holiday party tonight. Need to set the recorder.
I am rooting for the Chippendales. I would be rooting for the goat farmers if they were not so whiny.

Holy Crap Batman! The Houdini escape did not phase anyone.

Glad to see the end was in NYC. Trey & Lexi were the most consistent and had few weaknesses. Memorization played a key role as did getting lost driving.

Wish the Twinnies were still in it. Moving to the Chippendales as my first choice.

Sweet, sweet ending. I would have loved to see Jamesx2 there as well, but at least James got his mom a car. :)

SOOOOOO happy to see the twinnies and their foul mouths lose out.

That Houdini task - OMG.

Darn it! Of the three remaining teams, the Beekmans were my least favorite. I so wanted to see Jaymes and James win.

At least the twinnies got their due. They annoyed me from the get-go…(anyone remember their initial interview, where they laughed about tricking people by switching places? Their attitude just rubbed me the wrong way, even back then)… I just wanted anyone but them to get to the finals.

Nice ending, and I don’t know how I’d have done hanging upside down over a CONCRETE drydock.

Disappointed with the ending. They hadn’t won a leg all game.

Don’t tell me those obnoxious and annoying Beekmans won. The show about their farm is just awful and they always are so inept and clueless it is surprising they would not lost on a NASCAR racetrack.
