I’ll be flipping between this and the Cowboys game. Argh.

You can watch it on-line. [Amazing Race: Watch Episodes and Video and Join the Ultimate Fan Community - CBS.com](The Amazing Race (Official Site) Watch on CBS) Just don’t read here first!!

That Amari is a class act. I wish she and Marcus had won. I felt so bad for him during that cockpit simulator challenge!

Cindy was awesome in the map challenge. She and Ernie deserved the win.

Cindy and Ernie killed it, I have to say. She whipped that map out, no problem! I felt so bad for Marcus in the cockpit. So frustrating! I agree, Amani is a class act.

With all that being said… I kind of think Cindy shouldn’t have gone on and on about her Asian parents at the end (how they would say they knew she was going to win, etc). Too much! I also cringed in the car when she said if Marcus/Amani or Jeremy/Sandy won, it would be like C students beating A students… Lordy. She needs to lighten up! I also had no clue what she was talking about when Phil asked about the company that she and Ernie want to start - so much rambling. I read in their profiles online that they want to start some kind of social media company or something together. I think they’ll be smart with the money for sure because she is so neurotic.

I was pulling for Amari and Marcus too. Cindy and Ernie were never my favs but even less so after tonight’s episode. That “C” student comment was rude and uncalled for. I also disliked her saying her parents would expect her to win and then go on about how she had to be perfect at everything…just poor form all the way around. Hope they use the money for a good cause.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO over Cindi - nuff said!

While that flight task was pretty cool (poor Marcus!), I honestly thought that the rest of the episode was a let down. Typing a couple sentences? Really??! And the map task, seemed pretty bunny - AND they could work together on that - often in that last “map” task only one player could participate.

Very anti-climatic in my opinion.

Still love this show, but ugh, sometimes hate these finishes!!!

Another one over Cindi, and Amari was absolutely wonderful in the way she encouraged Marcus in his flight simulation. OTOH, I know where every place they had to go to like tha back of my hand, I could have directed the cab driver!

Just fyi - it’s Amani, not Amari. I keep wanting to say Armani! Ha. Love her.

Yep, I realized that after I posted but it was too late to go back to edit. Either way, she’s my favorite racer ever :)

Although they were never my favorite team, Ernie and Cindy deserved the win. They raced well week after week. Of the three teams that reached the final leg, they had the best overall record and in the finale, they were clearly the strongest team. As for Cindy’s personality, one of my Ds and I were talking about it and came to the conclusion that, in any other season, it’s unlikely that Cindy would have been as disliked as she seems to have been this season. There was really no team to ‘hate’ this time. TAR always seems to have at least one team that bickers constantly, that has one very nasty team member, that denigrates one of the countries they visit, that is openly hostile to other racers, that needs anger management training ;), etc. Colin and Christie, Jonathan and Victoria, Freddy and Kendra, or the Weavers from the family season, are just a few that come to mind. Cindy doesn’t come close to any of the truly unpopular racers who have been on the show through the years.

Not exactly a great finale, I agree, although better than last season’s which was truly awful. I, too, was surprised that both team members could participate in the memory task, which was an easy one compared to those used in many previous seasons.

Amazing Race and the Cowboys game were equally disappointing. So bummed for Marcus.

I flet so bad for Marcus on the flight simulator task. I’m not sure I would’ve been as supportive as Amani with $1M on the line.

The episode itself was rather anticlimactic. I guess the producers figured that the teams would’ve had more trouble with an old typewriter than they did. The recollection task was also easier than in past years. I also think the ending probably wasn’t as close as they made it seem in editing. I think Ernie & Cindy had enough of a lead that it didn’t matter that their cabbie took a wrong turn.

I was disappointed in the result, and wish the last leg had been more competitive. I was rooting for Marcus and Amani. But Cindy and Ernie ran a good race, and a good last leg. ANd nice that Ernie was the pilot and the one who did the typing challenge.

Overall an anticlimactic season ending. Some seasons the finale would literally have me biting my nails. Not last night.

Was so rooting for Marcus & Amani for the win, but was ok with Cindy & Ernie. I think they’ll utilize the money well.

I still think a fun season would be made up of all teams that were eliminated 1st.

I hope next season the pace is picked up.

I would have like Marcus and Amani to win as well. Imagine the frustration they both felt in the cockpit but look at the great support Amani gave to Marcus through and after that. Sometimes it’s interesting to consider which group you’d like to just hang around with for a while - I think Marcus and Amani are both great.

I felt the same way but I sensed from what she said and the way she said it that it was really frustration on her part for the way her parents treat her in this respect - i.e. the stereotypical Asian tiger parents. I missed the comment about the C vs A though. If she really wanted to grade it they would have been mostly in the bell somewhere with the snow boarders at the top until the last minute, but you can’t apply grades to a competition like this.

Cindy was obnoxious the entire time.

but they came up big when it counted. bummer.

So bummed with this whole season of TAR. Such a let down at the end. I would’ve preferred anyone BUT Cindy. Ernie was tolerable but she wasn’t. I hope next season picks up.

The teams for TAR 20 have been announced and the first episode is February 19th! Although I’ve never watched Big Brother, apparently there is yet another couple from that show on TAR 20, so there must be a reason for them continuing to choose alumni from BB. The Race will visit two new countries this time, Paraguay and Azerbaijan. Mark your calendars, TAR fans!

I’m ready! Did a quick scan of the new contestants earlier today!

Yea! I wondered whether the 20th season would mean an all-star cast, but I guess not.
