right on schedule.

Yay!

But… they say they haven’t gotten my HS Transcript yet, although it was sent along with the ‘School Report’, which is listed as received. How can this have happened? Should I just ask my school to resend it now?

I applied to George Washington and my school report and transcript were in same envelope, but they only got school report…so im guesssing colleges lose those sometimes. I had mines sent again and I would suggest you do the same.

Ok, does it matter if you didn’t submit all 4 categories of SATII’s? I applied to Arts and Sciences and took math2, chem and bio. and they have received those scores, but the X’s on Humanities and Others freak me out still.

aerableparable, I have exactly same concern as you do; I thought I took virtually every kind of SAT II tests except language (Physics, Math II, US His) and the category “Others,” which I presume that includes language, is marked with “X”. I mean, language is not even one of the requirements! So I guess it just means I didn’t take it and doesn’t mean it is necessary?

http://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/firstyear/Freshman_Admission_Requirements_Grid.pdf

At the Freshman Requirements grid for Arts & Sciences it says “SAT Subject Tests required in 2 subjects”. So, as long as you have taken two, it should be fine.

The red X, while freaky and alarming-looking, is just to say that they haven’t received any score for that category, so if they should’ve, then you should alert them. If you never took a test in that category, then just leave it be.

@ plzaccept1989

I think I’ll wait for Cornell to email me. I checked the FAQ section (it’s called “Troubleshooting” and I selected “My application materials haven’t been received yet” from a dropdown list) and it says…

So I guess I’ll wait, rather than risk sending them 2 copies of the transcript. My only concern is that it is Mid-February already. However, the transcript was with the report, so I really am just taking a leap of confidence that it’s gonna appear.

I can imagine the ppl that sort the mail there…they are part time minimum wage employees that probably couldnt care less about ur college acceptance (but maybe i’m just being a peimist)

I sent in my High School transcript through DHL, and it was received by someone at Cornell, but my Status page says it has not been received…
What should I do?

My packet was received by C. Granato at Cornell University.
Should I email them, and tell them this…I could also give them the link to DHL status page.

It seems like Cornell is missing many people’s transcripts? Same here. I actually sent mine in a separate envelope from the school report. They didn’t receive it. I don’t understand what might have happened…

Oh well, 2 weeks to send another one.

i was deferred ED, anyone know if my login stuff for this should be the same?

During the ED period it took a while for updates to show, so I would give it time. If Cornell is missing something they will most likely contact you.

Is there any way to see what scores Cornell currently has on its database? All I get when I view the application status website is “All materials received…etc.” I’m asking cuz I had major improvements in January test scores and wanted to verify they had been uploaded to the system.

Oh my! Is there a deadline for resending stuff? (I know Stanford’s is Feb 28th, for example, but is there one for Cornell?)

If there is a deadline, I’m gonna ask for another transcript to be sent right away! Who cares if they get two copies!
