<p>I want to start writing my essays and filling out my applications, but the schools Im interested in all seem to not released them yet. Im talking about Michigan, cal, Uva, UNC, UT, IUB, UIUC, UW, and a few others.</p>
<p>However, I have last years applications. Would it be safe to assume the essays are the same? Also maybe Im looking in the wrong place?</p>

<p>I’m not sure which if any of those schools are on the common App, but if you want to apply to any schools that do use it, the application for this year (i.e. applying this fall/winter) is out at <a href=“http://www.commonapp.org%5B/url%5D”>http://www.commonapp.org</a></p>
<p>The UC application has stayed the same for a really long time–you’d be safe assuming that the essay prompts are the same.</p>
