The Best Cafe to study or read books?

is there any cafe that is quite and comfortable for reading and studying ? any recommendations? Second Cup is too noisy…Tim Horton’s enviroment isn’t that appealing…at least to me…

Van Houtte seems to be pretty good…how is the one on University?

try presse cafe. its on parc and milton across from second cup

Isn’t there a Starbucks in the McGill bookstore (and how’s that place, I mean, I’m not the type to study in a cafe)?

There’s a starbucks at the KPMG building but it closes at like 6 I think at probably gets pretty busy during busy hours but looks like a nice place to study.

The Second Cup at the corner of Parc and Milton is very nice, has a outside sitting area and good internet. Across the street is La Patisserie Belge, a treat for the eyes and mouth.

It’s a hike from the campus, but if you find yourself up in Mile End, Le Figaro on Hutchinson and Fairmont is a great cafe. On a warm day, the outdoor tables are filled with a wide mix of people, and the food isn’t bad, either. You’re just a short walk from Fairmont Bagels, too.

mmm the metro trip to faubourg’s on ste catherine would be worth it, no?

Why would you even take the metro? It’s a very nice 15 min walk depending on where you are on campus.
