The Best College Towns!

I’m going to have to second Pittsburgh. It has the second highest number of students per capita.

And, of course, Gainesville.

I love Oberlin, Ohio :)

Gainesville (UF). Of course, I’m biased ;p

I saw Charlottesville and Williamsburg a few times in here… LOL is all i can say.

Harrisonburg (James Madison University)
Radford (Radford University)

Chico, CA!!! My hometown.
Eugene, OR
San Luis Obsipo, CA

Providence, RI

Has Brown, Providence College, Rhode Island College, and URI has a campus there. Also there is Roger Williams nearby and Salve Regina is (kinda) nearby. Well, it’s RI, so *everything *is nearby. But Providence is great.

the problem with providence being that there are absolutely zero college-student type bars in the brown area, which is a somewhat key element to a college town

Madison. The end.

State College

Ann Arbor.

Go to KU. The basketball and football is great and Lawerence Kansas rocks. the school is beautiful and town is so fun. Rock Chalk jayhawk.

Here’s an original one: Boston.

A lot of people are saying it’s not a good “college town” but rather a good city to live in. But those people probably don’t go to school in Boston. The city is run by students and caters to students. And if you choose the right school, it feels very much like a nice college town rather than a giant, all-consuming city.

I also think Boulder, Cambridge, Madison, and Berkeley are great college towns.

“UCLA (Westwood, CA)
CalTech (Pasadena, CA)
Basically any UC, except Davis”

Wait, what’s wrong with Davis?

Lawrence, KS for KU. Awesome town for being in the middle of nowhere Kansas if I do say so.
plus… Basketball!

Lawrence isn’t in the middle of nowhere.

Ann Arbor.

Irvine

beautiful, safe, and quiet

UC Davis is one of the best college towns.

W/o a doubt either uC davis or ucSb
Haiku, I live in irvine and its like living in a Big Brother society
People get arrested for staealing kit-kat bars here

^ can’t be too safe can’t we?
