We just had a donut as well as a Maleficent and a kid who said he’s a child laborer at Panda Express (an eatery), as well as some witches and others. A bunch of girls wearing leis and someone who said she was Milie Cyrus, so I asked if she sang and the group started singing. I think they were in high school–maybe middle school.
All together, I think we may have had about 40 or more come by so far and it isn’t 8pm yet. Maybe we’ll get 50 or 60 total, I’m not sure. I have been giving crackers and Milano cookies for the younger ones (ages 6 and under).
We haven’t been home for Halloween in many years, so we are enjoying the visitors.
D1 gave out lots of candy at her new apt. The only costume she described was two tall folks dressed as, well, parents, carrying their own treat buckets.
But abasket, we also had a beagle corgi, loved that dog, and keeping an eye out for another.
My favorite - My niece recruited her whole family for Peter Pan. My sister and BiL were the Darlings, my neice and her husband were Peter Pan and Wendy, their 3 daughters (4-8 years old) were Tinkerbell, John and Michael - the little one complete with onsies PJs and teddy bear. She got my nephew and his new wife to be Captain Hook and Princess Tiger Lily. It was fun and a great family picture.
A little robot who said “Let me give YOU something” and gave me Raisinets!
Two teen boys dressed in suits, and carrying on a “legal argument” at my door.
The world’s smallest Michael Myers, who didn’t say a word. I couldn’t stop laughing, but I told him it was because I was scared.
I thoroughly offended one little boy, age maybe 6 or 7. I thought he was dressed as Peter Pan. “I’m not PETER PAN!” he was aghast. “I"m Robin Hood!” Ouch. Who knew PP and RH dressed the same? I do, now…
