the best way to save money on books

where do you guys buy your books form?

many people recommend places like half.com (owned by ebay, I believe) and amazon.com

try to buy used books whenever you can.

my biggest piece of advice, though, is to look for international editions of textbooks – they are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than domestic editions and are virtually the same.

I hear a lot of people are satifised with using Negg

This may sound dumb, but how do u no which books to buy? Where does it say which book to get for which class?

^^
go to wolverineaccess.umich.edu >> student center >> under the “Academics” header there is a dropdown tab, select “Textbooks”

thank you guys for the advice

half.com is AMAZING…you can find some really good deals

bookfinder.com compares multiple sites; alibis and abe are also pretty good marketplaces for books.

addall.com also compares multiple sites
