<p>has arrived in the PNW states. Rain for the next 5 days.</p>
<p>Ah well, I’ve felt I was living on borrowed time anyway. We had ourselves a lovely October!</p>
<p>Can’t complain about the October either 
We had a lovely display of colors here north of Seattle. It almost felt like we were in New England!</p>
<p>My wife wants me to consider Portland, Or, as a retirement destination. Sorta makes me sick to the stomach. I hate rain.</p>
<p>My DH grew up in the Willamette Valley; the inlaws are all there. The kids and I have only visited in the summer, so we’ve only seen the wonderful weather. Kids talk about moving to the PNW, but DH always says they shouldn’t make that decision until they’ve spent October through June there!</p>
<p>The brothers are harvesting Christmas trees this time of year…funny how everyone is always wearing mud-caked rain gear in every picture they’ve ever sent from harvest!</p>
