The Boss' final performance at Giant Stadium

So good that I’m going back Thursday night for Born to Run!

My SIL (age 53) has been a Springsteen groupie forever. She has been known to go from town to town when he is on tour (unmarried,no kids).I think she was hitting 3 cities on this tour. Her dog’s name is Bruce of course. Her personalized license plate says “Badlands”.

Oldfort–the new young drummer, that’s Mighty Max’s kid, right?

^ Yes, he is.

Yes. He is only 18 years old. We saw him this past May also. He is very talented.

I took a bus from NYC to the Meadowland on Fri. Our bus driver got very lost. I took out my iPhone and saved the night.

The oldest son, Evan Springsteen, is a sophomore at BC. Bruce and his wife Patty were at our session of BC’s Parents Orientation last year. Everyone tried really hard not to stare and to just let them have their space. But there was something very surreal about seeing THE BOSS walk down the aisles of the activity fair picking up brochures about dining plans and health services and putting them in his tote bag!!!

Okay, I would have had a VERY difficult time acting nonchalant at orientiation with Bruce and Patty in the room.

Years ago a friend’s sister was at the Democratic National Convention and saw JFK, Jr. She said she just stood there staring at him while he ate a slice of pizza. I might be like that in the presence of the Boss.

LOVE this thread…ya’ll keep the tidbits coming. I didn’t know that Max’s son is playing the tour, and that is way cool, worried Mom!
