So is mine. I just have one friend who every once in a while says, “Let’s go to the Art Institute, I want to see the blah blah blah exhibit,” and we go.

Most of the baseball team couldn’t understand why I didn’t prefer to drink cheap beer in someone’s basement instead. Sigh.

I wantsa gota Chicago soooooooooooo bad. Going to the art institute sounds like fun. I have to drive for an hour and fifteen minutes to get to the one here.

I need some sort of foolproof method of concentration.

If I ever go to Chicago I’d do everything Ferris did.

Art galleries aren’t really my thing.

I don’t want school to start. I’ve spent the whole day doing homework, and I’ll have to continue tomorrow and it just sucks.

I really should start studying for my AP tests, but starting on spring break just works so much better and I also don’t want to.

I saw Watchmen.

I was going to do some revision of philosophy bs but I didn’t have enough time. Ugh. My exams are on May 21 and 22, so I still have some time.

What AP tests are you taking?

And how was Watchmen? I got mostly mixed reviews from all of my friends.

I’m taking Latin, chemistry, US history, and calc AB, and Watchmen was dense but alright.

Just kidding everyone I’m going to Stanford.

I don’t think I want to see it anymore.

Watch it online, if you must. Or read it. Movie’s only okay.

On my list I have Harvard (for my mother, hahahah she thinks I’m going to Harvard), Columbia, Northwestern, Stanford, Scripps, and UT. And now I’m hyperventilating.

A women’s college? Who woulda known.

No Chicago?

No.

I’m unsure about Scripps. One of the Claremonts, I could like. But I’m being realistic with my chances and Scripps would be easiest to get into. But now I’ve jinxed it, I suppose.

I need one more. I was thinking UW-Honors, but idk. A good state school, for sure.

What happened to Chicago? I thought you loved it.

Didn’t you hear? I don’t anymore.

I was sold on Pomona for a while. But, as I’ve said before, hell will freeze before my parents let me go to California for college.

Canadian, this is old news. I guess the legends about Canada’s inability to keep up with the US are true.

Why not? I thought it was a maybe, not a complete no.

I wish I was alive during the 60s.

I love Yale. I will basically die if I don’t get in EA. But it’s possible, we’ll have to see what happens.

I’m only applying to schools in the Northeast. I’m not comfortable going any farther from home than that.

I shudder at the thought of going through customs that many times.

I know someone who used to love Yale. Then she stayed there for a summer program, and that ended her love for Yale. She’s going to MIT.

Well, I would die at MIT. So we’re clearly not alike.

Have you ever actually been through customs? Because it’s an extra five minutes at the airport. I shudder at the thought of it, too. Seriously.

I have. Once. But my plane had 200 passengers on it, many of which didn’t speak English, so that made it weird. It took maybe twenty minutes to get all the way through.

Hmm, it might depend on the airport, then. And I’d need a student’s visa. Heh.

I absolutely can’t wait to graduate. Just a year and a few more months to go. I’m so tired of my school and especially of the people in it.
