Don’t waste your time looking in newspapers. Make a list of places where you want to work, and ask them for applications. And start telling people right now that you’re looking for a job. Someone will hook you up.

Canadian, you haven’t revealed your driving ambitions. Do French IB students in Toronto get drivers’ licenses?

I doubt it. But I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine. It’s Tennessee.

I’ve never looked into a newspaper for a job before. And I’ve been asking around since like March. I already called a bunch of places I want to work at, and almost none of them are hiring. Way ahead of you, American.

I don’t know when I’ll get a license. I don’t really need one. Everywhere I need to go is typically within 20 minutes from my house, either by walk or by subway. I know a bunch of people who got their licenses a few months ago and still have yet to drive anywhere. I just don’t need one, but I’ll probably still get one in the next few months. Probably.

It’s best to do it while you have the time. If you ever need it for an internship or job in college or whatever, you’ll be glad you have it. It depends on your college choice a bit. You might want your license if you’ll be in a suburban or rural college.

Mwahaha. Chicago.

Yeah, that’s the thing. I don’t have the time.

Yes you do, hip Canadian.

No I don’t. You don’t understand.

The classes are what makes driving difficult.

You could get your license in the US. We let everyone drive here.

Be nervous. Maybe you’ll mess up. Or worse.

What should I do tomorrow morning? Go for a run, or a joy ride?

A run. It will do you good, America.

What should I do tomorrow morning? As if I have the choice.

You are the opposite of helpful, Ohio.

I love running, but I’m a bit leery of it. I weigh only 105 pounds. I can’t really afford to lose any of that. But then again, maybe running will make me eat more. I don’t know.

I would make a good girl.

You don’t just say things like that.

lol boys lol

There’s nothing like bonfires on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Oh, senior year.

I went to a bonfire and I’m not a senior.

Oh wait. I am.

Where do Chicagoans have bonfires? Here, we have them in our backyards and whatnot, since it’s legal to burn just about anything in an unincorporated area.

I can use italics too. Watch me.

An hour and a half before I pass my test.

Right? Right?!?

Ooh, pass. They let anyone drive in Tennizzle.
