Our yearbooks are free.

I know. You wish you were Canadian.

Yearbooks are so pointless.

I love Voxtrot. Although their album covers are the type of thing people at my school would swoon over.

Only Canadian hipsters swoon.

Taste of Chicago starts tomorrow, which means I will gain 15 pounds in the next 2 weeks.

I never gain weight.

The gay parade is this weekend. Which means that half of the city will basically be shut down.

I don’t gain weight either, it was just a way to express how much food I’m going to eat.

My friends and I accidentally wandered into boystown after a Cubs game while looking for something to eat. There was a gay pride parade going on, I’m permanently scarred.

Edit: This is Boystown.

There’s a Torontonian equivalent to that. It’s pretty ridiculous. I’m going to make a pride parade for straight people.

Haha, I’ll join that parade.

I’m coming out myself, I’m coming out hetero!!!

I still haven’t come out to my parents… I hope they accept me!!

I’ve always wanted to watch a gay pride parade. But I’m a girl, so it’s okay.

I think it would kill my father if he ever heard me say that.

You are Canadian, and you speak French, and you listen to Voxtrot, I’m surprised they haven’t tried to find you a nice boyfriend yet.

Oh, I know, Mike. Any day now.

Pride parades are really, really, really flamboyant.

Mike has an interesting point. I was always unsure about the monkeys…

Next thing you know you’ll be forced into t-shirts with deep v necks.

Deep V necks are a trend with the scenesters here. And yes, there’s a difference between hipsters and scenesters. Or at least they claim there is.

I don’t want to know the distinction.

I love Voxtrot.

Are you a lesbian?

Deep V necks are really popular at my school, and most of the guys who wear them are straight. Those damn hipsters.

That’s a loaded question.

[Fresh Intelligence : Radar Online : Deep V-Necks: Destroying America?](http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2008/06/american-apparel-vneck-trend.php)

Haha, I was just reading that article.

Wearing a V neck would mean I would have to break up the solid 10 t-shirt rotation I’ve been using all summer. It’s just not a good idea.

Mix it up a little, be flamboyant. Purple zebra stripes never let anyone down.

Yes. Thank you.
