The Cafe Watering Hole

Luna, gross. Don’t be one of those weird parents, snoopy.

If my children aren’t tall, I’m putting them up for adoption on the black market. Also, the girls will get the boot if they don’t have curly hair.

Oh jolie. I’d probably give her a normal middle name, though, like Elizabeth.

Boys with curly hair always make me think of Boy Meets World. On the real.

Yeah, boys with curly hair are usually Jewish. And I’m not Jewish, and I probably won’t marry someone who’s Jewish. I don’t like false advertisement, lmao. Don’t get me wrong, I have Jewish hair and I love it, but curly hair on guys isn’t as…well…masculine. Pretty boys have curly hair. Wavy hair is okay, though.

Luna? Nooo!

Oh jolie. You should know by now I waffle entirely too much for you to fret.

I’ve known one Jew in my entire life, and I don’t think she liked me.

She probably didn’t. :O

My neighbors are half-Jewish. That’s all I’ve got.

I wore a teal dress today. DB hates teal.

That’s a sassy thing to do.

Yeah, I know. He don’t own me. lolololol.

Will you apply to Whitman so you can visit and sleep on my floor and allow me to give you an overzealous tour?

Walla Walla, not for me. idk. You’ve got to convince me.

Understandable. Butttt, everything is on campus, so there’s no need to go off. Plus, do you need to go shopping every week? And summers are better for internships anyway. AND! They have an amazing study abroad program (and a domestic program too, as I’ve talked about). They offer really, really good financial aid (if you qualify). They have really good, healthy food. They’re very green in general. Beautiful dorms. Small class sizes.

I could go on. But I’m not there yet, sooo…

PS: Certain Ivy grad schools are starting to seek out (and leave open spots for) more obscure, lesser known (but still top-tier) LAC grads. So. Yeah. (:

Perhaps. For a visit it’s really far away, though.

chicago chicago chicago

Yeah, yeah. I know you’re impartial, but Chicago winters ewwww. Walla Walla averages 300 days of sunshine (: a year.

EDIT: They have a good free visit program. I’ll PM you link (■■■■■). I don’t care if you don’t want it.

I like winter.

Just stop. They have a partnership with UChi for an Urban Studies Program.

Winter sucks and its the worst thing ever. I should’ve been born in the deep south.

There is summer and winter in Tennessee.

Guess what, jolie.

One trip to Wal-Mart would change your mind. But the catch is that here in Ohio, we still have rednecks, but it’s cold too. It’s the worst of both worlds.

Have you noticed that the posting order problem has generally been fixed? I haven’t seen any mumble jumbled posts for a while now.

What, snoops?

I am going to make my facebook right now. Out of sheer boredom.Even though I have homework to do.

Homework whaaa?

I finished my summer reading, lmao. The easiest ever. But it was so so good. I <3 Whitman for sending it to me.

JB: We have cold winters and red necks here too, it’s…yeah.

I thought you had one already. Anyway, it doesn’t really take very long, as long as you don’t start adding a bunch of useless applications. Also, make sure to ignore friend requests from people you despise, as they can come back to haunt you later. You also might want to not add every single application somebody suggests. 90% of the people in my network don’t know how to use Facebook correctly, and they just think using the Tigger Philosophy. “The more, the merriment.” It doesn’t work that way.
