<p>I scheduled an appointment on the apple site, showed up, told him it didn’t turn on, he plugged it into the computer, and then gave me a new one. As long as it’s still under warranty, they’ll pretty much always replace them.</p>

<p>i have an 8GB touch that’s been broken for weeks and i went to the apple store genius bar or whatnot, scheduled an appointment, and he deemed it broken after the sleep/wake key wouldn’t work and gave me an 8gb replacement (woooo, my warranty was almost up too!). i wish i had gotten a 16GB one… did they simply make a mistake? how is that even possible, they took 20 mins just to register mine! </p>

<p>alot of people were getting their iphone 3g fixed though. apparently alotta buggy issues, but it still looks hot! :D</p>
