The Cafe Watering Hole

Haha, he probably doesn’t even know what crunk means without Urban Dictionary.

“Food and liquor?” What? Liquor is never sold in the same stores as food in Canada. Never.

I do know what “crunk” means. Both the form of hip hop and the adjective, which can very often be applied to the Canadian hipsters.

I’ve never heard of a food and liquor store. I know of stores that sell food and liquor, but they’re not called that. Are you talking about Chicago or California?

It’s not really food like a grocery store, it’s basically a liquor store with a convenience store mixed in.

@JB, Chicago.

That’s so… odd, Canadian.

Fascinating.

In Ohio, those stores are called “[Insert town name] Main Stop,” or “[Insert town] Qwik Stop.” Yes, it’s spelled just like that.

Yeah, the drinking age here is 19 but they’re really strict about it. Beer/wine/liquor/etc. are all sold in liquor stores that sell nothing else, and the employees are supposed to ask for ID if you look like you’re under 25.

I recently heard Metro Station for the first time. It was depressing.

shake shake shake shake shake shake shake shake it shake shake shake it shake shake shake it shake shake shake shake shake it shake shake it shake shake shake shake shake it

That’s what I call music.

There’s a Metro Station concert here tonight. Everyone’s like omgomgmetrostayshunomgomg

In the US, they’re stricter yet. I assure you. They’re now requiring IDs for anyone that looks under age 40. I think some states (TENNESSEE, for example) require IDs no matter what. In the US, they also file charges against cashiers who sell alcohol to people underage. Yet, somehow, it’s still really easy for American kids to get alcohol. Usually, adults just buy it for them.

It was like… I don’t know. :(

My sucktastic essay is sucktacular.

Also, on the subject of the “gimme eat!” thing, I don’t think anyone really says that. I just read it in Catch-22 and I remember random things like that. You should read it, it’s extremely ridiculous and pointless.

All of my essays are sucktacular. Every year, the only hope I have is to make my English teacher like me.

I bet you Col. Frank Fitts, U.S. Marine Corps says “Gimme Eat”

I already have.

I almost forgot that I totally failed my chemistry test yesterday. I missed…9? 10? out of 35.

I did badly on all sorts of things in Chemistry. My teacher was…well, let’s not go there.

Michael Phelps is swimming OMGMOGMGOGMOGM USA USA!!!

The poor Canadian has no one to cheer for.

He can cheer for the Americans. We could use some help, since we obviously have a lack of national pride.

No, stop. I was watching a homely Canadian whose last name was Beavers swim today. He got, what, 5th place? 6th?

I have two new scars on my right arm that weren’t there a month ago and I have no idea how I got them.
