The Cafe Watering Hole

Puh biology.

My hand hurts.

Why don’t I tell you all about how Hardy uses the dual nature of Michael Henchard to demonstrate how people react to Fate and Chance? Oh wait, no one cares. My lit teacher picks weird topics.

I have so much reading. The first part of The Metamorphosis, a 40-page chapter from my philosophy textbook, two 15-page articles about human nature, and this for ToK.

rockermcr: AP>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ib

but then you might be unlucky like me, AP wasn’t offered and we were the guinea pigs for the IB.

kolledge confidenshal

I’ve taken AP exams and I’m in the IB program, and I prefer the IB.

That sounds really good, actually.

I’m reading* The Awakening*. It’s all right, but every girl in my class(That would be every other person in my class) is riled into crazy feminist mode whenever we talk about it. I feel left out.

I feel your pain, Mike. I was the only guy in my English class last year too.

I’m always in crazy feminist mode, mike, but I see your dilemma.

This year I’m in the stupid honors English class, so it’s a healthy mix. But it doesn’t make a difference since I’ve decided not to talk in there.

If I read the words “noble savage” again, whether in English or in French, I will set something on fire.

Good for you.

I did not die in chemistry.

“That’s nice.”

I see the Canadian’s got jokes.

Impossible. There is no humor in Canada, they can’t even spell it properly.

True, true.

I like popcorn.

Late arrival tomorrow, yay! I’m not getting up until 9:10am.

Why not?

Because I don’t have to go to 1st period, so my first class starts at 10:05 or something. I’m going to have to park in the far parking lot, but it’s worth it.

I’ve solved my show and tell crisis. I’m going to make a PowerPoint about my favorite countries. Mis pa

We have pretty good discussions in my lit class. It gets a little over-intellectual occasionally, people start to think every little instance is a reference to the state of society in the (insert era).

I live in Tennessee. Guess how people vote.

I look for everything in a book, just because my superiority complex demands it.
