The Cafe Watering Hole

Last year was the first year I went to homecoming. It was pretty lame. I don’t know if I’ll go this year or not. But my school doesn’t have football, so we have a basketball homecoming. I have time to think about it.

I’m sure.

I have been slacking.

Come now. Surely someone can say something interesting.

I don’t mind wearing suits or tuxes. So long as they’re not boring. I don’t really feel uncomfortable or awkward in them. I actually even think I look good.

So.

I totally bombed my physics test today. It was the single worst test I’ve ever had to do in my entire life. Yeah, pretty swell.

I may or may not bomb my apush test. But probably not. That doesn’t help you at all, though, now does it?

Canadian vanity reveals itself at last.

Nope. And vanity is okay if it’s not in excess. Most people have a certain degree of vanity.

I renewed my health card today. Don’t know what a health card is? It’s my ticket to free Canadian health care. They expire every 6 years on your birthday. So I’ll have to get mine in 2014 if I’m still a Canadian resident then. Who knows what the future will hold.

Then I bought a new pair of shoes and a new school bag. And then I went to the gym for a long time. And now I’m here.

That’s all I have to say.

School bag. Hah. Canadian health care. Hah.

I was very lazy today. And now I am here.

Oh, you’ll see. You’ll see.

I’m so tired.

I’ll see? I’m sure.

I have to wake up at 5 am tomorrow.

happy birthday rocker! I probably won’t be on for another few days :)

I have to admit that it would be pretty nice to go to the doctor and not have to worry about how much it has to cost. This past Tuesday, I had trouble breathing all day, but I put off going to the doctor until the last minute. I don’t go to the doctor unless I think I absolutely have to go. Not only does the visit cost, but it takes forever, and then the prescriptions cost lots more on top of that. I ended up with $110 of prescriptions for the month, just so I can breathe. But I guess it did help. I’m still here, and I can walk to school and back without losing my breath now.

I want to pick on you but it seems like you’re about to die. :(

You know the story about Teddy Roosevelt running until his asthma went away? Ever try anything like that?

Anyway.

I’m really glad that I’ve never had any sort of medical problem. I’ve never been on any prescription medication and I’ve never even had the flu. I’ve hardly even used any over-the-counter drugs.

Someone pick one.

My weekends are getting less and less productive. I have no ability to stay in the house and study anymore.

I’m usually not too bad, but my allergies just took off in the last year. Up until now, I’ve never really had to take any medication. And I can pretty much stop taking everything after the first frost.

My weekends are also unproductive, but I still stay in the house. Last night, my friend and I spent the entirety of the debate giving a play-by-play commentary over MSN.

If you ever come to the US, yak, you might die from our myriad diseases, just like the Indians did.

Canada just went through a listeriosis outbreak and I survived. So.

Never underestimate the resilience of Canada.

I think I just did.

I’m deathly tired. Deathly.

That can’t be good.

Deathly tired. Deathly hallows. Harry Potter. Superawesome.

That was my train of thought. My mind is choo chooing away.
