<p>There’s a surprise episode of SNL on now. It’s surprisingly mediocre.</p>
<p>It’s only a surprise for sheltered Canadians. And I think it’s okay.</p>

<p>I actually caught up on almost all my work today, but I still don’t feel any better. College applications are doing me in. Maybe I should apply to a Canadian university as a safety.</p>

<p>Or submit a teacher rec. I do think they require SATs for American students, but I’m not sure. If they do, they generally accept students with above a 600 on all sections.</p>

<p>In English we watched The Last of the Mohicans and then we had to come up with our own Native American name. Yeah.</p>
<p>My English teacher is extremely intelligent but also incredibly disorganized and stupid.</p>
<p>I hope I get into the Mentorship program. My essay was pretty swell, and my teacher rec was awesome, but they’re haughty and pretentious so you never know. </p>
<p>I’m actually starting to look forward to writing college essays. I’m starting to notice that I’m very good at selling myself through writing.</p>
<p>Governor’s School is 5 weeks long. Of the two I’m applying for, one is in Memphis and the other is in the middle.of.nowhere. It is literally in a cornfield. I may die.</p>
