You really need to watch 30 Rock. The world does.

My new favorite song is Float On.

You really need to watch 30 Rock. The world does.

My new favorite song is Float On.

I just got home from a lame music something.

The Modest Mouse version is better. Depending.

I can’t help but like I’m Yours by Jason Mraz. He’s very Jack Johnsony. I don’t mind.

My favorite is the Modest Mouse one, daft Canadian.

I’m going to pretend that that last sentence there doesn’t exist. POOF it’s gone, just like your dignity.

Aah, what a crappy last football game. I’m officially locked down for the weekend, I have so much crap to do.

Snoop, why you be droppin’ truth bombs on JB? You know he doesn’t know Tracy Jordan and Liz Lemon.

I’m incorrigible.

I have cold hands.

You’re just a big liar if you pretend to not like Coldplay and the like. So, sucks for you.

Quantum physics is super fun.

I have to decide on a topic for my silly [IB extended essay](IB Diploma Programme - Wikipedia). I was considering writing it on something about Kafka’s The Trial but then I was informed that I’m only allowed to write about a book in the language it was written. No German for me. I’m definitely writing mine in English, though, because I need a break from my silly French education.

I do like Coldplay, to a point. Chill out, touchy northerner.

You should write about Harry Potter. At some point in my life I’m going to write an epic essay about Harry Potter.

Write about why nothing but indie music, hockey, and meese comes out of Canada.

Write about The Picture of Dorian Gray. The IB program has to be having a love affair with that book. The whole thing is a collection of philosophy.

I should read that. I should read many things.

I told a girl today how much Twilight sucks. She looked offended.

Dorian Gray is pretty good. You all should read Dubliners right now. So good.

Perhaps.

And good night. I must rest up for my future tomorrow.

I’m taking it tomorrow too. But I’m not in bed yet.

Well. Aren’t you a bag of lucky.

Nothing is ever on tv on Friday night. Jeebus.

I should start my silly journal for ToK. And the two essays I have due for this week.

But I won’t.

Also, I’m not a big Oscar Wilde fan, so Dorian Gray is a no-no. One of my friends who’s a senior wrote her EE on the differences between the characters in Lolita the book and Lolita the movie. Nabokov wrote in English, lucky for her.

Isn’t there any good Croatian lit for you? Can you write essays in Croatian?

No, I’m unfortunately not that fluent. I can read Croatian but very slowly and I need to concentrate a lot.

That sounds about like my knowledge of Spanish. I can read and write great things if I’m given enough time, but it takes a massive amount of concentration. A timed essay certainly wouldn’t work. It’s a really frustrating position. I know almost enough to do something worthwhile, but not quite.

I know exactly enough Spanish so that I can tell the security guards I left my school I.D. at home.
