Feel better. I command you.

Yay Chain Rule.

I hate the chain rule. I hate all the rules. I always get the names mixed up.

4 graphs left. Plus read two chem chapters, plan three apush essays, and shoot myself in the face.

Hey,
I’m writing an “online community analysis paper” for one of my classes. And there are some things I haven’t figured out yet:

Much obliged!

I have a German midterm tomorrow. Have I studied? Nein. Should I study? Ja.

But I’m eating ice cream, so that will have to wait.

I’ve spent one hour on three calculus problems. I’m pretty sure the Chain Rule is out to get me. I didn’t think it was that hard. I guess that’s what I get for being overconfident.

Multi-variable chain rule is out to get me. As are partial derivatives. I’m going to sleep.

apush is diabolical.

My superiority complex has been dealt a deafening blow.

Can I write 2000 words on this, this, this, this, or this? Or should I choose a painting that wasn’t made my Ren

This depends on the topic of the essay. Are you just simply supposed to write 2000 words about the painting? Or do you need to make some sort of a specific claim?

And we Americans don’t know what “Ceci n’est pas une pipe” means. Today the government student teacher told us that we can’t just flee to Canada if the US has troubles. Apparently, since 90% of Canada’s trade is done with the US, Canada is going down harder. I guess we still have Mexico.

It’s a picture of a pipe. The caption says “This is not a pipe.”

And I have to write a critical analysis of a non-philosophical document. It can even be a pamphlet. But excerpts from books aren’t allowed to be longer than 100-200 words, so I thought I’d do a painting. My analysis is going to be sent to the IB organization for external evaluation, though.

I wrote an essay on the last two paragraphs of this story/novella, there’s all sorts of philosophizing to be done.

[The Dead-James Joyce](http://mockingbird.creighton.edu/english/micsun/IrishResources/dead.htm)

The last picture.

And my rank is no longer 1. Today was a sad day.

Very sad stuff. I would say I feel ya, but my rank is 15.

Thank you. The last one is good too.

My school doesn’t rank, but I think I’m somewhere in the top three or four. But my class only has like 60 people in it.

Hmm, my class has I don’t know how many. Something like 550 now. Like 10-15 drop out at each semester, so it’s difficult to say. I’m guessing you don’t have many drop outs at fancy French school.

We don’t, really. But a bunch of people don’t go to university when they graduate.

Like 2/3 go to 4 year college here, I think. Most go to ISU, NIU, and all of the other directional schools, besides Northwestern that is.

My counselor rec was surprisingly good considering I can count the number of times I’ve talked to my counselor on my fingers.

I. Am so. Freaking Tired.

Dead.

Blah.

I have to read 5 chapters of various subjects.

I swear, UChicago. You’re making this difficult.

They want my parents’ tax returns from 2007. All forms and schedules, plus W2 forms. It’s a whole host of copying. I just really sincerely hope I didn’t screw up any of these financial aid applications. That would be horrible if I’m denied financial aid because of it.

Help me. I really hope the the Canadian tax system is easier. Are tax returns there 100+ pages like they are here?
