The Cafe Watering Hole

I’m currently eating and drinking enough for four people, since I have to quit at midnight. And I won’t be in any condition to eat good food tomorrow.

Spicy anything is good.

I have all sorts of things to do this weekend, and who knows if I’ll be in any condition to get them done.

why are you eating tomorrow???

FINISHED SCHOOL FOREVER! WOOT NO MORE EXAMS! So excited… the HSC has ruled my life for the past year and now its OVER!

ah, these kinds of threads are the best-i’d love to meet someone new to talk to-anyone up for a nice chat online? message me for my screenname-maybe i’d attract more people if i posted something about myself…(am female)
nah, see how this works out

Blah .

So. I got invited for an interview for the mentorship program I applied to. Pharmacology. Heh.

sooooo…I had a terrible terrible day.

I had two big tests, and on top of that, three of my best friends were dismissed from our school until January.

:[

So. I cannot do Governor’s School.

Whatever will I do?

Why can’t you?

My body didn’t comply with a workout tonight. So, time for rest.

The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea is really, really weird. The kid sees his widowed mother having sex with some guy, and then he and his band of malicious and highly intelligent 13-year-olds torture and kill a cat.

Many things, but all stupid. I’ll probably get Girls’ State.

Mmmbop.

Unless you absolutely can’t, you should definitely apply. Also, pick international relations if you do apply.

Stevie Wonder is a guilty pleasure.

Cannot. It’s terrible. Terrible terrible terrible.

What should do this summer instead?

Learn that English and Spanish differ in that English sentences always require subjects.

I’m going to get a job somewhere this summer.

Passive aggressiveness does not suit you. And I was thinking of volunteering a crapload of places, maybe trying for an internship somewhere.

I already have a job.

10 days is not enough for a teacher recommendation, anyways. I’d feel bad.

Maybe I’ll… I don’t know. I don’t know.

There are all sorts of things you can do. You can volunteer, keep working your job, take community college courses, and maybe even study abroad if your parents allow it. I might recommend finding a language immersion course somewhere.

So I had my four wisdom teeth surgically removed, and now I’m on happy pills. The Vicodin they gave me is too strong, and it makes me so dizzy I can’t even stand up. So my mom split them in half for me. It’s working much better. It’s so weird. When I’m sitting in the chair, I feel like I can get up and do anything. Then, as soon as I get up, I feel like somebody just beat me with stick. Hopefully I’ll get to start eating some real food today. Yesterday all I could have was yogurt, jello, and mashed potatoes. I also had plenty of caffeine yesterday, between my three cups of coffee and two cans of coke. Now I just need to summon the will to finish my homework.

JBVirtuoso, persnaps it is a good idea to just rest as much as you can until tomorrow evening and then cram all your homework in then. Don’t risk your health and well-being to get work done

Vicodin makes me think of House and vikings.

Snoop, you did that Scholastic Art and Writing Awards thingy, right? Tell me about it.

I don’t have anybody to ask for gov school app. recommendations … I was going to ask my World History teacher, but I got a 3 on that exam and I haven’t approached him since… what do I do? all my english teachers sucked and I’m applying for humanities so it doesn’t really make sense to ask a math or a chem teacher, does it?

This is the most random thread ever…

Mike, I did the scholastics awards thing too. It was fun.
