I got my Duel Credit English scores today!!!

A for college class and a 97 for high school class.

plus anyone know where I can put a paper up online so people can use it as a reference in later papers. My english teacher gave it a 106 and it was about George Eliot’s Life Style and influences.

Well, I would think they’re proud of you for getting into a “good” college. At least tell them that. Tell them it’s top 10. You’re a smart guy and you’ll do well, so getting in is definitely a good thing.

School’s already canceled for tomorrow b/c of the ice/snow storm coming in, so I don’t have to do my lab report, my Spanish, or my poster. Hahahahahahaha

I’m banking on no school tomorrow. Most people I know want to have school tomorrow because of all the parties, but I’m a party pooper, so I’d rather stay home and work on my application to Princeton (which I have yet to start, since I decided to apply this week). I might also go to work if I school is canceled, since I only live a five-minute walk from the office.

I don’t have any exams until the second week of January. They span two whole days.

I’m basically worried sick about Speech. I have an A- in that class. The teacher likes me, but I got a B on one of my speeches for being six seconds under the time limit and using a monotone voice with an abrupt conclusion, so I’m struggling. I am NOT going to blow my 4.0 on an elective course. That would just be stupid.

I feel your pain. I hate when stupid classes mess up your average.

There are supposed to be 20cm of snow on the ground tomorrow morning. But I know school won’t be canceled, because there would literally need to be 12 feet of snow in order for that to happen. And it would have to be hailing at the same time, and there would have to be a tsunami or something. And a tornado. All at once.

Hahahha. I’m all for metric, but I’ve never heard snow measured in centimeters before. Haha. It looks so weird. It only takes 4 inches of snow to cancel school where I live, so it’s very possible that I won’t have school tomorrow. The thing with this storm is that there will be ice with it. On Wednesday morning, there were only two inches of snow, and that caused a 2-hour delay. That’s what Midwestern schools do so they don’t have to cancel the whole day. They start school two hours later than normal and just have a shorter day.

My calculus homework is eating me dead. I know how to do the work in general, but every single one of the problems has caught me on some nitpicky little detail.

School was hardcore canceled. I should probably go to work today, but I don’t want to walk in the freezing rain. If I do, I’ll be a walking icicle by the time I get to school. I’d also like to do my winter photo tour today, since ice storms make for great pictures. But again, it has to stop raining first so I don’t get ice all over my camera.
