I got frostbite (frostnip, actually) on my way to school today.

Also, there was a power outage in half the city today because something exploded and the subway was down and peoples houses froze over. I don’t live in the affected zone. So. I win.

1) Am I correct in saying that Toronto is Canada’s largest city?
2) Did you not say “half the city”?
3) Is a power outage for half of Canada’s largest city an issue that might concern the prime minister?
4) Does this mean that you finally got out of school for something?

But really, a power outage, something entirely out of the prime minister’s direct and indirect control, would not “tarnish” his “record,” especially because he would not be even remotely linked to what happened. In any way.

We only have one a year. Mwahaha. We just all go to the cafeteria, which is underground at my school, and we just sit at the tables. It’s a good time to socialize as long as you’re not too loud.

haha, the thought has never crossed my mom that people might have tornado drills. now that i think about, i feel stupid for not assuming it. but tornados aren’t exactly the first thing on my mind…(:

And you don’t have tornadoes in Providence. I doubt they have tornado drills in southern California either.

Actually, we’ve always had tornado drills, but they only started doing lockdown drills last year. I would think lockdowns would be a more frequent occurrence.

lmao, i definitely meant “mind”, not “mom.”

and obviously they don’t have tornadoes in providence, but i just think its odd that i never imagined that schools in regions where they DO have tornadoes would have drills.

lockdowns are annoying - i understand the need for them - but i don’t understand why when we have an “external lockdown” (threat from outside school) and we’re in an interior room with no windows, we have to huddle in a corner -_-
