Question: what majors is Berkeley most known for aside from engineering and biology majors? Is Berkeley a good place for majoring in Political Science?

I hope that question isn’t too long for this thread! Thanks (:

From a grad school perspective, it is at or near the top in very many disciplines, not just eng and bio - fields like English just to name one. There are available statistics you can view searching from [University of California, Berkeley](http://www.berkeley.edu) that give the number of students by major - that also gives a sense for how the school attracts students interested in that topic. It may surprise you to see how many students are in majors outside of bio and engineering.

At the undergraduate level Haas and EECS are probably the most well known.

At the graduate level, literally everything is top or near the top in the world.

I think I remember it as all graduate departments except BioE being in top 10 nationwide - but this is from years ago when BioE was just starting out (it was before Stanley Hall was built) so it might have changed now.
Yeah Engineering and Sciences are big. but so are the humanities
