The Chairs on the Memorial Union Terrace

<p>EVERY website that involves this school has ATLEAST ONE picture of those colored chairs that sit on the terrace. They’re like a key image of the school…</p>

<p>Why are they so significant? I wonder about them every time I see a picture.</p>

<p>The Terrace and their chairs are one thing that is unique to Wisconsin and generaly a site of many fond memories of lazy summer days spent with old friends or new ones. No school I know has a special place that matches the UW Union and Terrace.</p>
