@NYYFanNowMTdad my D did the 5-week summer intensive pre-college MT program thru Emerson this last summer and worked directly with the faculty and the Director of the MT program, Scott LaFeber during those 5 weeks. It was an amazing program and enabled my D to really immerse herself fully into the program and learn from the direct faculty there at Emerson and they got to know her and see how she could take direction etc. She had the opportunity to audition for them at the end of the 5 weeks and took advantage of that opportunity using everything she was taught and learned from them!

I got into Hofstra. However, I have yet to hear anything about Ithaca’s prescreen and I am anxiously waiting.
If anyone has heard back from Ithaca, when did you send your MT prescreen, and what day did you hear back?
@skylarmt My D submitted on 11/30 and heard back 12/11 - a no. Perhaps no news is good news for you.
@afterp89 awww I’m sorry. I sent mine on 12/1 and have yet to hear back. Did you hear back through mail or through Acceptd?

@skylarmt My S submitted prescreen 11/29 and just heard yesterday 12/14 via Acceptd.
S scheduled Molloy/Cap 21 audition at Chicago unifieds and it’s only a 15 min. slot? Seems so short compared to others. Does anyone know how many kids in each audition slot?
@Mom2jnes Most are much shorter than that. Molloy actually talks with each student a little bit. The woman is super friendly and chatty. Most auditions are five minutes.
My D heard from Ithaca within two weeks after submission…mid October through Accepted and email.
