I can’t believe that it’s been 10 months, almost 11, since my D took her last AP exams and we’re STILL dealing with this garbage! The College Board LOST her AP Music Theory exam which she took during a make-up period. No surprise. They lost hundreds of exams that were taken last May. Of course, it took them 4 months to admit they had lost the exam. They gave her 2 options: 1) retake the exam or 2) refund her $80. She sent the return letter with the option checked for the refund. No refund after 2 months resulted in the first of 4 different hour long phone calls by my husband to the College Board. Each time they’ve promised to send the refund, but didn’t. Today he spent ANOTHER hour on the phone and got shuttled to at least 6 different employees, none of whom helped him, despite his continued demands to speak to a supervisor. Finally, he told them that the next phone call would be from our lawyer and he was transferred to someone who said she was a supervisor, but couldn’t find my D’s file. She never apologized, but told him that since the end of the month is the time when the College Board cuts checks, my D could possibly get one for the refund in the next couple of weeks. Yeah. Right. My husband says it’s not the money any more, it’s the principle. Yeah. Right.

if it was reversed they would have sent your file to a collection agency i bet
how frustrating
