<p>How good is this college in comparison to, lets say, the University of Connecticut?
What is it known for?</p>
<p>A friend of one of my children ended up here & really likes it! I really don’t know much about the school except it is near Albany, I believe. </p>
<p>UCONN, no doubt has name recognition, due to it’s basketball & football teams, and great academics, ranked #27 USNWR’s Public National Universities. </p>
<p>For some, name recognition is important to them. These are the people who don’t want to have to say the name of their college twice & then describe where it is located to a person who says that they have never heard of it.</p>
